ASPEN, Colorado (July 22, 2026) – Aspen Art Museum (AAM) is pleased to announce the auction preview for the 21st annual ArtCrush is now live. ArtCrush is the largest annual fundraiser for the Museum, with proceeds supporting innovative exhibitions and educational programs both locally and internationally. Online auction lots will be on view at the Aspen Art Museum from July 14 through August 1, and live auction lots on view from July 14 through July 30. The live auction will take place during the ArtCrush Gala on July 31.

Highlights of this year’s live auction include artworks donated by Adrián Villar Rojas, Sayre Gomez, Xinyi Cheng, Camille Henrot, Keith Mayerson, Kelly Akashi, Ding Shilun and Michelangelo Pistoletto, among others. The online auction display brings together exceptional works on paper, highlighting drawing as the most immediate and intimate form of artistic expression, including works by Andy Warhol, George Condo, Josef Albers, Leonora Carrington, and emerging talents. Lots in the live and online auction range from under $5,000 to over $500,000 and include painting, sculpture, and works on paper.
The gala will honor Adrián Villar Rojas, whose exhibition First Gods, Lost Animals will be on view at the Museum beginning July 2.
The Design Room of the ArtCrush Auction exhibition is once again curated by Sarah Broughton, principal at Rowland+Broughton Architecture and Interior Design. Inspired by a recent trip to Oaxaca, this year’s presentation celebrates the Wunderkammer, or cabinet of curiosities. The Design Room is curated in partnership with Design Miami.
The Museum’s auction partner, Christie’s, will return to conduct the live auction during the ArtCrush gala on Friday, July 31.
Bidding in the Online Auction opens on July 21 and closes on August 1 at 12 PM MT.
All of the auction works were generously donated to the Museum by artists and galleries. In celebration of the founding of the Aspen Art Museum by artists, the Museum again invites artists to retain a percentage of the value of their works
